Booking Terms & Conditions

Please note that these Booking Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made from 20 October 2021 onwards.

Please take the time to read and understand the conditions of booking set out below prior to booking a fit testing session with one of our independent fit testing consultants (“Consultants”). We strongly recommend that you also read the Fit Testing Requirements page to ensure you understand the process for, and requirements from, you and your company. In these Booking Terms & Conditions references to “You” and “Your” include the first named person and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or any other person to whom a booking is added or transferred.

1. Our contract

All bookings are made with NZ Fit Testing acting as an agent for the Consultants that are listed on the website. By booking a fit testing session through NZ Fit Testing you have agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in these Booking Conditions.

Your booking will be accepted by NZ Fit Testing on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation.

2. The Consultant’s Contract

The Consultant may have Terms & Conditions separate to these Terms & Conditions that are to be provided by the Consultant following the session booking request. You are required to confirm your agreement with those Terms & Conditions of the Consultant prior to engagement of fit testing services provided by the Consultant.
Your fit testing session will be cancelled if you do not agree with the Consultant’s Terms & Conditions.

3. Acceptance of booking and final payments

Once a booking is made, you will receive a ‘confirmation of request’ email. Shortly after, the requested Consultant will confirm your booking with You using the contact details you have supplied on the booking request page. The Consultant will provide you with their Terms & Conditions where required. A contract will exist between you and the Consultant once the booking has been confirmed by the Consultant. Please refer to the Consultant Terms & Conditions for details regarding final payments.

4. Prices and surcharges

Following the completion of the fit testing session onsite, the Consultant will provide you with an invoice for the works performed according to the pricing schedule that is available here. Due to the limitations of the booking software, costs invoiced by the consultant may differ from that which is outlined on the website when requesting a booking. Costs provided on the website through the booking software are indicative only, and are estimated on the basis that all tests are successful on the first attempt.

5. Your details

For us to confirm your booking request, you must provide all requested details. Necessary details include but are not limited to, contact email, phone number, site address, and number of persons to be fit tested.

6. Cancellation by Consultants

If a Consultant needs to cancel your booking, you will be notified as soon as possible. You will be offered the choice of
a) cancellation of contract
b) rescheduling of the fit testing session
Please read any notification carefully and respond promptly as if you do not respond to us within the timescale given your booking may be cancelled.

7. Privacy policy

Any personal information that we collect about you will be used solely for the purposes of contact with regard to fit testing booking requests. Personal information that is collected from this website will not be shared with an unrelated third party without your explicit permission.
